1. Royal Challengers Bangalore: 49 all out vs Kolkata Knight Riders (April 23, 2017)
Unfortunately, RCB holds the record for having the lowest score in IPL history. Their batting order was utterly destroyed by a potent bowling attack led by players like Chris Woakes and Nathan Coulter-Nile during their 2017 Eden Gardens match in Kolkata. It was a poor outing for the talismanic captain, Virat Kohli, who was removed for a golden duck.

2. Rajasthan Royals: 58 all-out vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (April 18, 2009)
In an odd reversal of events, the team that earned RCB’s lowest score now finds itself ranked second. The Rajasthan Royals and RCB were playing in Cape Town, South Africa, back in 2009. After that, RP Singh gave a masterclass in fast bowling and claimed 4 wickets. With the help of the remaining members of the RCB bowling attack, the RR batting order was destroyed for a meager 58 runs in 15.1 overs.
The only batsman for RR to score more than ten was Yusuf Pathan, who finished with 11 runs. For RCB, chasing a score this low was just a formality, as they won by a margin of 10 wickets.

3. Rajasthan Royals: 59 all-out vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (May 14, 2023)
Unexpectedly, the Rajasthan Royals find themselves on this list once more. This time, in the 2023 season, they were the targets of a vicious bowling display, this time at their home stadium in Jaipur. Leading the RCB attack, Mohammed Siraj took three wickets in his three-over spell while giving up only 9 runs. After joining the celebration, the remaining RCB bowlers held RR to a pitiful 59 runs. But the result of this meeting was different.

The match from the 2014 season, in which Delhi Daredevils crushed Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), completes the list. Another bowling masterclass occurred in this match, this time by Amit Mishra, who claimed a career-high six wickets for only 17 runs in his four overs. Mishra’s wit had the KXIP batters completely outplayed, as the side was bowled out for just 45 runs in 15.2 overs.
